This party was a really fun/much needed party with some really fun/much needed people. Chelsea, Nia, and Julie coming over before, spending the night at my house afterwards and sitting by the pool the next day was important and easy and perfect and I just want that to be every weekend from here on in. LadyTime followed by PartyTime followed by more and more LadyTime.
The grumpiest graduates. (Taken with instagram)
We were not happy about the heat of commencement or the outfits or what happened to our hair or the boring ceremony or ANY OF IT. But we graduated, so that’s cool I guess.

GPOY(andShmoosh)W. Haven’t done this in a longlong time but we look great and happy and a little drunk here and that is how we live our lives. I cropped this from a picture full of other people I love to showcase the one I love the most. Can’t wait for our friendsbians tshirts to arrive and to wear them ALL THE TIME even though they say barcrawl on them.
Have you ever been primarily in charge of someone’s okcupid account with their permission? Shmoosh let me make her one and pretend to be her and talk to people she approves of and it is SO MUCH FUN. If I was single I would 100000% go on every date in the world but because I have a silly boy who loves me I have to live vicariously through her and I’M OBSESSED! Also, she would never do this herself but is having as much fun as me with it as long as I do all the work so really it’s a win-win-win-win situation.
shmoosh this is for you.
AMEN, shmoosh.

Scrolling through the dash there are so many new year posts about 2011 being a struggle for so many. I hate that! 2011 was an incredible, life changing year for me and I wish that was the case for everyone!
I wasn’t going to make a post like this because the mark of changing year seems so arbitrary to me. But too bad, here we go.
2010 ended terribly. Ry and I were in a rough place where we had to decide to either end things or be in it for the long haul. I spent New Years in Binghamton with him and spent the first week of January with some sort of horrifying flu in his apartment. At the end of January I left for a semester abroad in Utrecht, Netherlands where I was able to travel continental Europe for six months and meet some of the most incredible people that I’m lucky to have in my life. At the end of my term my cousin Stephanie came and stayed with me in the Netherlands and we spent a week and half traveling together in Spain, followed by a week in Ireland with Ryan. I went home and spent a week with Ry and my family, and then some time in Binghamton in my new apartment with Ry before he left for his job training in San Francisco. I spent the rest of the summer in Binghamton, at my museum internships and seeing some school friends I’d missed. This semester had its ups and downs but I got my highest GPA ever, had some crazy nights with my Shmoosh, got close with the girls downstairs, got to visit Ry in SF, and got the best Halloween surprise of all time when Ry visited. Then Christmas with my amazing family and now I’m in Newport Beach for the whole month with Ry. 2011 was a fantastic year for me, and I can only hope 2012 will be as fulfilling.
I want to have a bottle episode theme party where we only hang out and drink in one room of an apartment and we aren’t allowed to bring any guests that aren’t part of our main group of friends and we have to entertain each other solely by talking until we all eventually start arguing.
this is pretty much all the parties we had all summer and i loved them and they are great and one of our Apartmentkah celebration days should be a bottle episode party, juliekins.
It really does not feel like Christmas for me until I break out the 60” animated chenille Stegosaurus.
I have the urge to have a dinosaur winter scene in my front yard.
Jules, we could fit this in our apartment, right?!
