If it’s common knowledge in town that Mrs. McPhee has mental issues, why does everyone act like it’s no big deal that it’s just her and her two teenaged kids in the house? They said their Dad checked in on them once a week but that’s clearly a lie. Why are the adults not at all concerned about this?
